Exotic Mediterranean gardens perched above Cannes
Perched on the hills above Cannes, Villa Bellevue enjoys panoramic views over the Gulf of Napoule. The redesign of the gardens focused on framing these views, but also on emphasising the Mediterranean character and sense of place. Dry stone walls divided the space, marking the topography. A cactus garden lies beyond a bright coral-coloured wall, a reference to the architecture of Luis Barragan.
